Never forget a passport

I was with a few friends in Leigh On Sea as one of my friends has a bungalow and was kind enough to let us all stay over night, the front room was where we sat, chat, drank and slept, the temperature was almost perfect. I chose the double sofa with my feet hanging off the end, it could have been worse.

The evening was spent on a pub crawl , I stack to having mostly straight double vodka’s. At one bar they somehow ran out of it and could only offer me a single with whiskey as another shot. What kind of bar runs out of vodka?

As the evening wore on, we decided to look for a nightclub , one that we were recommended in a bar was closed, my friend new of a nightclub called Alex , so we saw a large crowd outside, one guy was wearing a cool mohawk.

I was last to enter , my three friends had to show Identification for their age , two driving licenses and a provisional license was shown. Being 27 I thought I would just walk on in, obviously it was not that easy and the bouncer asked me for a ID, I don’t carry it with me.

I am 27

I told the burly bouncer

I am 28 , I am not trying to be funny, its company policy

the bouncer replied

After being told that a university card will not be sufficient we left as we were blocking the entrance which the two men at the door did not like.

That was not the end, the plan was for me to take my hoody and blue backpack off as it gave a teenager-like appearance. There was another door to enter, this time the club was full and unless people leave, we could not enter.

So I was disappointed that the second time was to no avail. As I was leaning on a wall , a girl with a few of her friends came by , the girl told me to cheer up and gave me what could be described as a affectionate slap that made me laugh.

The rest of the evening went well and we eventually got some sleep around 3 .
